THE REWARDS KEEP COMING…

Emerson Skinner participated in PGB when he was in grade 6. It was his first introduction to charity and giving back. The program had a profound effect on Emerson and he chose to celebrate his birthday, at the time, by donating all gifts to Right to Play.

The joys of giving back have not been forgotten.

Emerson recently turned 16 and decided to hold a road hockey game in honor of this occasion. Once again, he asked all his guests, in lieu of gifts, to make a donation to Right to Play. He raised $108 without any expectations other than his own initiative. The program’s impact on Emerson, has taught him how he can make a difference in the world. Emerson’s thoughtful and considerate gestures exemplifies exactly what our program sets out to achieve. As he grows into a confident young man, he has gained the awareness and know how in giving back to his community. It makes us proud to see that the impact of our program has this enduring affect. His efforts are to be highly commended and acknowledged.
