Gillian Uy is thrilled to be joining the Project Give Back community. With a background in international development (she lived in the Philippines for a year), corporate training and in teaching, Gillian brings lots of different experiences to share with the students. Having seen the benefit her own two children gained from their own experiences with Project Give Back, Gillian is thrilled to be sharing her passion for giving back. When not supply teaching with the TDSB or doing Project Give Back, Gillian can be found volunteering for other not-for-profit organizations, reading, taking her dog for walks.
The Project Give Back Program
If we give children the proper tools and guidance, they can achieve the impossible. Project Give Back is a passion based program designed for elementary students to develop empathy, build character, and ignite community minded citizens.
